Gavin is another of our long serving Butyl family members with 21 years and counting. He's been Managing Director for almost 9 of those years; having worked his way up through his engineering background in the Production department. He's very proud of all the team here at Butyl and the fact that everyone works so well together.
When asked what he most enjoys in his role, you can tell he means it when he says that ensuring the company's proud reputation for quality products & services is maintained from one generation to the next is what gives him the greatest satisfaction.
He's a keen DIY enthusiast, working on renovating the family home in his free time, and likes to run to wind down. He enjoys family time with his 2 boys, helping out at their sports clubs when he can.
Bucket List item: Would love to run a Marathon or take the children on Safari.
